As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, your role involves:
- Providing direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities.
- Empowering individuals to live as independently and comfortably as possible while preserving their dignity and respect.
- Extending hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
- Ensuring the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals served.
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
